Bead Bandz are custom made by Karen, a  spirited local of New Orleans whose creative nature made a hobby into something a little more. Living in the heart of the New Orleans since 2017, Karen has immersed herself in the magic of Nola’s rich cultural tapestry. Inspired by the infectious energy of Mardi Gras, the city’s iconic festivals, and the atmosphere of Saints games, Karen decided to create something that adds even more personal flair (you can never have enough).

These custom headbands are a celebration in themselves, made from authentic Mardi Gras beads thrown from the vibrant floats that grace the city’s streets during Carnival season. Each Bead Bandz headband is a piece of New Orleans history and a testament to Karen’s dedication to preserving the spirit of the city she now calls home.
